Reclaimed Wood – Project Spotlight

 Here are some photos courtesy of our friends at Barnes Vanze Architects of a French Country Cottage in Washington DC.  The home is a project we worked on together in an up and coming DC neighborhood.  We are able to supply the reclaimed oak flooring, beams, countertops and some other millwork details.  They really did a great job pulling this project together.  We are glad to be able to show it off!

Here is a nice use of some hand-hewn Oak timbers.  By working the plaster to the timbers, it really adds the sense of authenticity, as if they have exposed the original antique framing of the home.
