Mt. Vernon

Painted wood floors became popular in the 18th century as a way to keep a home looking lighter and brighter. Time and foot traffic wore the old paint off revealing some of the wood grain beneath. We saw this sort of finish in some of the famous Virginia manor homes and wanted to add that look into our line. Mt. Vernon has smooth gray tones while still revealing some of the beautiful pine grain beneath. Shown on our American Heritage Heart Pine.
