As we salvage antique barns and warehouses from the industrial revolution, the material comes to our yard largely in the form of large timbers. Often this material is taken and then re-sawn to produce planks which are milled into flooring. The most choice timbers are set aside to be used once again, in their truest form.
These old, worn, structural members have already stood the test of time, and are ready to become part of a new atmosphere in your home or commercial project. Reclaimed timbers, beams, and mantels, can be used for a mantel above your hearth, they make the perfect compliment to projects from the most rustic to the most contemporary.
We can also take newly sawn timbers from materials such as White Oak, Western Red Cedar, and Douglas Fir, and hand work them to a wide range of surface textures and finish options. Need to hide a modern structural member and make it appear as if its been there for centuries, then we can build you a custom box beam or hollow beam to cover.
