Cochran’s Lumber accepts personal/business checks, wire transfers, and major credit cards. All credit card charges are subject to a 3% processing fee.
OVERRUNS – On flooring and paneling orders – overruns up to 2% are to be possible and some amount of overrun should be expected.
For orders specified as Random Footage of Widths – DO NOT INSTALL IN REPEATING PATTERN. If you desire to install your flooring in a repeating pattern of widths, you must order equal linear footage.
It is the responsibility of Cochran’s Lumber to deliver material that is the correct species, grade, profile, finish, and moisture content (6-9% for wood flooring). It is the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER to ensure all details are accurate and to correct order specifications AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. DO NOT INSTALL ANY MATERIAL that is not made or delivered to the correct order specifications. Installing material is confirming that all specifications are correct and as desired.
Prices subject to change. Cochran’s Lumber cannot guarantee pricing on proposals for new wood beyond 30 days from the proposal date.
Prices for reclaimed flooring materials cannot be guaranteed for any amount of time.
Freight quotes are estimates, and CANNOT BE GUARANTEED for any amount of time. They are subject to change at the time an order ships.
Sales tax is the buyer’s responsibility. Cochran’s Lumber will charge sales tax on all orders within the state of Virginia.
RETURNS- Cochran’s Lumber will accept returns of UNFINISHED flooring as long as the material is in the same state and moisture content as at the time of shipment, and that it is still in original unopened bundles or packaging. Returned material will be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee and the balance will be credited back to the customer. Cochran’s Lumber will not accept returns on opened, cut, damaged, or altered material.
The amount of credit to be offered on returned material will be assessed after material arrives at our plan at 523 Jack Enders Blvd, Berryville VA 22611
Cochran’s Lumber will NOT ACCEPT RETURNS on pre-finished flooring material.
On invoice –
It is the customers responsibility to confirm the following specifications upon delivery:
- flooring is the species and grade as ordered
- flooring moisture content is between 6 – 9%
- if flooring is finished, confirm color, sheen and texture is as ordered
